Title: Assistant Director of Ticket Sales

Duties: Develop and implement ticket sales strategies for groups and organizations that are targeted prospects for purchasing season and single game tickets to select University of Akron athletic events including; football, men and women’s basketball and men’s soccer. Sales will be developed and solicited through in person connections with individuals, organizations and groups. Assistant Director of Ticket Sales will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective customers, making connections, cultivating relationships, soliciting and fulfillment of sales. Assistant Director of Ticket Sales will work in conjunction with the Athletics Marketing department to sell theme nights and ticket packages to select events. Oversight and management of the following staff positions: Graduate/Student Assistant(s) for Ticket Sales (as applicable).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. One year ticket sales experience preferred.
