


Duties: Provide general administrative and secretarial support to assigned faculty and their research groups. Research vendors and pricing and order chemicals and supplies for assigned faculty and groups. Monitor and report status of faculty grant accounts, process expense accounts and reimbursement forms. Assist in preparation of grant proposals and organize associated forms for on-time submission. Process forms and associated paperwork for hiring of post doctoral personnel including visas and work permits for international students.
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma/GED and two years experience in office/clerical procedures. Working knowledge of basic office equipment and computer applications including word processing, spreadsheet and database software packages required. Typing and editing, strong interpersonal and organizational skills required. Ability to work independently and exercise considerable judgment in coordinating activities and managing telephone calls and visitors required.
