The curriculum guide assumes that students come in with an AA degree or a field of study already accomplished, all pre-requisites are complete and students will be attending part-time.
5400:480 ST: Workforce Educ & Training-Diversity Postsecondary Learners is offered for a minimum of 1 credit. Students must take 3 credits (Summer Year 1). 5400:490 W: Technical Education-Modifying Online Instruction is offered for a minimum of 1 credit. Students must take 2 credits (Summer Year 1). Therefore, students must take a minimum of 5 credits in Summer Year 1.
Students may attend part-time or full-time. For a full-time degree schedule which can be completed in 4 semesters, contact your advisor OR see the TNT website for the cyclical schedule: Click here. Students may begin in Fall, Spring or Summer. See the cyclical schedule on the website if desiring to start in a different semester.
Individuals interested in this BS degree must have at least 51 credits in a field of study and complete all general education requirements for the University of Akron.
This degree requires a total of 128 credit hours; 32 of these credit hours are in the TNT degree.
