The sequences are designed for RNs who completed either a diploma or associate degree nursing program as well as RNs with bachelor's degrees in an area other than nursing. Admission into the RN to BSN program is dependent upon many factors, including the completion of required prerequisite courses. Students may qualify to portfolio 8200:446 and/or 447 depending on their background in nursing and their clinical competencies.
3400:221 Humanities in the World Since 1300 may be substituted for 3400:210 Humanities in the Western Tradition I.
This program is available as Online or via Distance Learning technologies to 6 satellite sites.
Bypass Credit of 36 hours is available after completion of 8200:336 Concepts of Professional Nursing.
The following credit hour requirements apply to this degree: 128 minimum total credits; 32 credits in residence; the final 32 credits must be taken from The University of Akron.
