Interdisciplinary (MBA)
The Interdisciplinary concentration of the MBA program provides the most flexibility. You can customize the concentration to meet your needs by selecting 9 graduate credits to use toward the concentration.
Admission Requirements
- GMAT (score of 500 or better preferred)
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statement of purpose
- Resume
Application Deadline
- July 15 for Fall enrollment
- November 15 for Spring enrollment
- April 15 for Summer enrollment
It is recommended that international students apply one month prior to these dates to allow time form admission and visa processing. I-20 forms are processed by the Office of International Programs.

| Interdisciplinary Concentration courses (9 credits) | ||
| Students may select graduate courses from the CBA, other graduate programs on campus or School of Law classes. Students already pursuing a Master’s degree may apply for admission and transfer up to 9 credits from their current program into the MBA Interdisciplinary concentration. For instance a student in the MS Chemical Engineering program could transfer up to 9 engineering credits into the MBA. Students in the joint degree program can transfer any nine law credits into the interdisciplinary program. Grades of “B” or better are required for transferred courses. The selection of classes must be made upon admission and a written rationale for the selection must be provided to the Director for approval. |

Assistantship/Scholarship Information
All assistantships (and any fellowships) are awarded through the academic department. Students interested in obtaining an assistantship must apply. New students may indicate on their online application for admission that they would like to be considered for an assistantship. Current students must contact the academic department for application information. Each department may have different requirements for assistantship applicants, so all students should contact the academic department to determine these particular requirements. Only those students fully admitted to a master’s or doctoral degree-seeking program are eligible for a graduate assistantship. Students admitted as non-degree seeking or to a certificate program may not hold an assistantship.
Financial Aid Information
Paying for college is a vital part of the education process. It is important to be informed of the many sources of aid available. Student loans are available to degree-seeking graduate students. Information on student loans can be found through the Office of Student Financial Aid. The Office of Student Financial Aid is located in Simmons Hall.
