Health care is one of the fastest growing sectors of the economy. According to some estimates, health care accounted for as much as a third of new private jobs in recent times. This is especially true for Northeast Ohio which is home to some of the best health care facilities in the world. The MBA-HC program works with these institutions to ensure that our graduates meet their needs as well as the needs of the broader community of health care professionals.
You need to have a completed application to be considered for admission. That means that you have to have a GMAT score (at least 500), a TOEFL score if you are an international student, hold an undergraduate degree, have your statement of purpose, letters of recommendation, resume, transcripts (at least a 2.75 GPA) and all the other material in to us so that our graduate admissions committee can evaluate your application.
The innovative structure of the MBA-HC program allows you to count courses for two different programs of study. Courses from the program may be used to satisfy the requirements of a graduate certificate in Health Care Management. This certificate program is open to qualified individuals who want to fast track their specific knowledge in health care management. Once completed the courses can be transferred to the MBA-HC program, providing certain conditions are met.
Students in the MBA-HC program come from all sectors of the health care industry and include senior hospital administrators, nurses, physicians, insurance providers and many others. Health care is a complex dynamic and demanding field and the close association that we have with the health care providers gives you the edge in furthering your career there through the MBA-HC.
