Career Opportunities

Degrees and Preparation

The B.S./M.D. prepares you to become a physician and continue training for specialties in the field of medicine, if you so choose.

Career Outlook

The job outlook for physicians is bright as continued expansion of the health care industry, coupled with a growing and aging population, fuels the demand for their services. Prospects may be better for primary care physicians; however, specialists will notice an increased need for their services as patients demand access to specialty care.
