Mara Byers is a Disability specialist whose specialty area is working with students with physical disabilities although she works with students with a wide range of disabilities. She received her masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University in 1995 and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She previously worked as a vocational rehabilitation case manager. She is committed to promoting access for all students at The University of Akron.
