Housing

University of Akron students have several options when it comes to choosing a room style and meal plan. Our residence halls are popular and fill quickly, so if you plan to live on campus, you need to complete your housing contract ASAP and return it with your prepayment by the May 15 deadline.

Housing Contracts are mailed in the Enrollment Packets to admitted students.

To learn more about your housing options, fees, Living-Learning Communities, residence hall organizations and to find our suggested list of what you’ll need for the big move, visit Campus Housing

Meal Plans

Traditional Meal Plans provide "all you can eat" buffet-style meals served at Robertson Cafe. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday and brunch and dinner are served Saturday and Sunday. All unused meals at the end of each week are forfeited.

Gold Meal Plans provide "all you can eat" meals served in the Traditional Meal Plans. However, students are provided with a credit in Dining Dollars for missed meals at Robertson Cafe. Dining Dollars may be used at numerous dining locations on and off campus, but will not carry over from one semester to another.

Visit meal plans for more information.
