You can apply to The University of Akron by following the procedures listed below.

First: Complete an application for admission. Be sure to fill in all the spaces.

Second: Submit the completed application form with a nonrefundable $30 application fee payable to The University of Akron. If you paid previously, do not pay again.

Third: Submit additional application materials including high school transcripts, GED results or other documentation. High school transcripts or GED results must be submitted by all adult students applying for admission.

To request transcripts, please use the Transcript Request Form.

If you have credits from another institution of higher learning, you must apply as a transfer student. A transfer specialist will evaluate them for potential credit at The University of Akron.
