Deadlines for Undergraduate Int'l Admissions

It is recommended that international undergraduate students send their completed application packets to the Office Of International Programs (OIP) at least 90 days prior to the beginning date of the semester they plan to enter The University Of Akron.

If we do not receive all required documents 60 days before the requested semester start date, your application may be deferred to the following semester.

Application Deadlines - Graduate Int'l Admissions

The Graduate School processes applications for international students as they are received. We recommend that students apply at least six (6) months in advance of the intended date of enrollment.

The Graduate School will process applications received after the six month deadline, however, cannot guarantee admission consideration for the intended date of enrollment.

Be aware of department deadlines

Each academic department has internal deadlines which need to be followed. Thus, we also recommend that students contact the academic department regarding such deadlines.
