Volunteer

The PART (Parent/Alumni Recruitment Team) is a program intended to connect our alumni with prospective students and their families. Completing the PART interest form informs the Office of Admissions of your desire to learn more about volunteer opportunities. An Admissions representative will follow up with you upon receiving your interest form.

PART Recruiting Activities

Attend college fairs

A college fair event is for high school students and their families to gather information from a variety of higher education institutions simultaneously.  PART volunteers can support the Office of Admissions by being the UA representative at a college fair.  College fairs are held September–November and March–May each year.

Regional Senior Receptions

Senior Receptions are held in and out-of-state for students to highlight the next steps in the enrollment process.  During the receptions, students learn more about UA’s academic programs, financial assistance, on-campus housing, orientation and student support services. Greeting and mingling with our guests is the perfect job for PART volunteers. Senior Receptions are held each year in February and March.

On-Campus Recruiting

Share your love of UA! The Office of Admissions offers a variety of visitation programs on campus throughout the year. PART volunteers are ideal for lending a hand with greeting our guests or being an alumni panel spokesperson.

Adopt-a-School

Serve as a resource for prospective and admitted students who live in your local area with congratulatory phone calls and/or emails to admitted students. We will supply you with all of the appropriate contact information. These outreach efforts can be made throughout the academic year.
