Admissions criteria for new freshmen

All applicants must have graduated from high school or received a GED. Applicants who graduated from high school less than five years ago must also submit ACT or SAT test scores and transcripts from any post-secondary coursework.

Direct admit

Students who demonstrate college-ready academic preparation and performance will be admitted directly to the college/academic program of their choice. Admission criteria varies by program/academic department, but is reserved for students who qualify academically (typically B grade average or better, competitive ACT/SAT scores, and college prep coursework in high school.)

University admit

Students who do not meet the direct admission criteria at the time of application will be considered for University admission to take general education coursework their freshman year. Students will be advised by an academic advisor within the college of their intended major.
