Admissions Events Summer Visitation Day Friday, June 20, 2008 Discover the Akron Advantage
UA invites you and your family to attend our Summer Visitation Day program. We'll have information available about the application process, academic programs, scholarships, financial aid, residence life and housing, and the Honors College. UA's Visitation Day agenda includes opportunities to:
- Visit with representatives from Residence Life and Housing, Student Financial Aid, Honors College, Multicultural Development, Center for Career Management and many others.
- Meet with UA faculty and students from your academic interest area. Don't worry if you're still exploring majors. We'll have representatives to talk with you about that, as well.
- Take a student-guided tour of campus.
Tentative Agenda Location: Student Union
8:30 to 10 a.m. Check-in
Location: Student Union, first and second floors
8:30 to 10 a.m. Campus Tours
Tours will leave every 10 minutes from the third floor of the Student Union. The last tour will depart between 9 and 9:15 a.m.
8:30 to 10 a.m. Student Services Information Fair
Location: Student Union, second floor and third floors
8:45 to 9:15 a.m. Financial Aid Information Session
9:25 to 9:55 a.m. (repeated)
10 a.m. Welcome and General UA Information
Location: Student Union Ballrooms
10:45 a.m. Meet with Faculty and Students from your Academic Interest Area
