Scott Roberts serves as an Academic Adviser in the University College Academic Advisement Center. His passion has always been to work with college students in attaining their educational goals. He graduated from Kent Roosevelt in 1982. Unsure of his future, Mr. Roberts headed out to travel the country and to gain more education. After attending seven different institutions, Mr. Roberts finally graduated with a BS in Business Management from Westminster College of Salt Lake City. He ran a couple restaurants and managed a computer company’s support services but felt no meaning in his work life. Mr. Roberts returned to school in the masters program for higher education at The University of Akron graduating in the summer of 2002. He joined the team of advisers that October and now works with many different types of students helping guide them in their educational pursuits. He is the lead on University College’s Student Appreciation Day activities, works as liaison to Engineering and non-licensure Education programs, and is a 7 year member of NACADA the national advising association.
