Zippy enjoyed a round of golf this summer in Tucson, Ariz., with Larry W. Allen, BSChE ’70. Allen is retired from Air Products & Chemicals Incorporated, where he was vice president of environment, health, safety and quality.
On a beautiful day in May, Zippy visited the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C., with Donald E. Peoples, BFA '83. Peoples was in the nation's capital for the National Cartoonists Society's 69th Annual Reuben Awards Weekend.
Identical twins Jane A. Root, BA ’63, of Indianapolis and Joan M. Greenberg, BA ’63, of Warminster, Pa., pose with Zippy on a return visit to UA, where they were members of Phi Mu Sorority, Who’s Who, A-Key, Pi Epsilon Delta, University Theatre, and the Panhellenic Council. The sisters were on campus for the annual Phi Mu alumni luncheon.
