Admissions to Myers School of Art
The Myers School of Art is a unique program that offers you the close knit experience of a small art school but also provides you with the benefits of being part of a larger university campus and structure.
New students to UA do not need to submit any additional materials or portfolio to join Myers School of Art. If you are a transfer student, please see additional requirements below.
Applying as a New Freshman
If you are coming from high school, and know you want to join Myers School of Art, simply apply to The University of Akron as a new freshman.
Applying as a Transfer Student
If you are transferring to UA, please carefully read the transfer requirements. You must complete a portfolio review and meet other criteria before you can be admitted to Myers School of Art.
