Freshmen students are currently enrolled in high school and planning to graduate this school year (including students in postsecondary enrollment options programs) or students who have graduated from high school or received a High School Equivalence Diploma (GED) and have not attended any other college or university.

Honors College - Students interested in the Honors College should apply both to The University of Akron and the Honors College.

Home Schooled Student – In addition to the five steps listed above, please submit:

A transcript of studies and supporting documents such as book lists and other related documentation
A signed copy of the superintendent’s exemption letter
