Biography

I enjoy recognizing the needs of others and helping individuals make rewarding decisions. As well, I have a supportive personality and enjoy working and engaging with others in the arts, management, administration, and the community.

As an art and business professional with more than 15 years’ experience, I have worked in collaboration with a plethora of major art and cultural institutions in Cleveland. Throughout the years, I served as chair-woman and lead the Scholastic Art Awards in Cuyahoga County, managed the national component of these awards, was responsible for the public relations of events in art and the community, and traveled the country to recruit and interview prospective students for a visual arts program.

I earned a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Communications and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I am grateful for both the educational and life experiences honed during those years of being highly caffeinated, exhausted, and slap-happy.

When I am not helping the students and faculty in the Myers School of Art at the University of Akron, you can find me working towards my health, fitness, and future career goals.
