"Great experience with the A&S Careers Program.  The staff are top notch.  Don't try to fight the portfolio or anything else they ask of you.  While it may seem like more work on top of everything you're doing for school, it's worth it in the long run.  I had several interviewers say they were impressed by the fact that I had a portfolio, let alone what was inside it."
