The A&S Careers Program is based in the belief that the transferrable skills of  Arts and Sciences majors and minors and the general marketability of their degrees are, in part, the responsibilities of academic departments and student services.

Therefore, the Program's goal is to prepare these majors for successful, ethical careers through on-the-job training and experience in numerous activities, using practical skills such as writing, editing, personal interaction, and creative thinking.

Because acquiring professional work experience before graduation is important, we offer students one of the most practical methods of doing this--internship participation!
