The University community is invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of Phase I of the Student Union at 12:45 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the facility’s third floor atrium. Building tours will be available from noon to 2 p.m.

University alumnus Dwight Smith was one of the heroes in the Jan. 26 matchup of his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl XXXVII on Jan. 26. A defensive back, Smith, No. 26, is pictured here running with the first of two interception returns he made to help his team to its 48-21 win over the Raiders.

 

Women in Ohio is the focus for the University’s annual celebration of Women’s History Month, which this year honors Ohio’s Bicentennial as well.
