ROO EXPRESS SHUTTLE ROUTES

The Roo Express Shuttle Service has four routes during the summer.

  • The NORTH ROUTE stops at the Honors Complex, the Paul E. Martin University Center and the Administrative Services Building.
  • The EAST ROUTE stops at Rhodes Arena and makes a loop east of campus, down East Buchtel Avenue and back on Carroll Street.
  • The SOUTH ROUTE runs between the Student Union and several stops in the neighborhood south of campus.
  • The WEST ROUTE stops at the Student Union, the Polsky Building and the Exchange Street Residence Hall.
  • The routes are described in detail below. Show your Zip Card and hop on board at any stop.

    NORTH: Honors Complex, Paul E. Martin University Center, and Administrative Services Building

    north route

    On the NORTH ROUTE, the shuttle makes three stops:

    1. Traffic circle near Honors Complex
    2. Martin University Center (front of building)
    3. Across from the Administrative Services building on College Street.

    The shuttle will operate on this route from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays only. Here are the exact times when the shuttle will be at each stop (Excel file). The shuttle will not operate on holidays or when the university is closed.

    EAST: Rhodes Arena, East Buchtel Ave. and Carroll Street

    On the EAST ROUTE, the shuttle makes seven stops:

    1. On Buchtel Avenue near Fountain Street (south side, at the Fountain View apartments)
    2. On Buchtel Avenue near South Adams Street (south side, at the Vevel Arms apartments)
    3. On Buchtel Avenue near East Market Street (south side, at the Buchtel Place apartments, north entrance)
    4. On Carroll Street near East Market Avenue (north side, at the Buchtel Place apartments, south entrance)
    5. On Carroll Street near Annadale Avenue (north side, at the University Rentals apartments)
    6. On Carroll Street (north side, at the Carroll House apartments)
    7. At the traffic circle near the Rhodes Arena

    The shuttle will operate on this route from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays only. Here are the exact times the shuttle will be at each stop (Excel file). The shuttle will not operate on holidays or when the university is closed.


    SOUTH: Student Union, neighborhood south of campus

    On the SOUTH ROUTE, the shuttle makes six stops:

    1. At Wheeler Street and Grant Street (southwest corner, at the Summit Medical Building)
    2. On Grant Street across from University Commons (west side)
    3. On Power Street between Allyn and Kling streets (south side)
    4. On Brown Street at Rankin (east side, at Hattie's Cafe)
    5. On Wheeler Street between Brown and Kling streets (north side at Buchtel Field)
    6. On Allyn Street at Torrey Street (southeast corner)
    7. The Student Union.

    The shuttle will operate on this route from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays only. Here are the exact times when the shuttle will be at each stop (Excel file). The shuttle will not operate on holidays or when the university is closed.


    WEST: Student Union, Exchange St. Residence Hall,
    and The Polsky Building

    On the WEST ROUTE, the shuttle makes three stops:

    1. At the Student Union (just west of the entrance by the bank and the bookstore)
    2. The Polsky Building on South High Street
    3. At the Exchange Street Residence Hall (in the lot between that building and Gallucci Hall to the south)

    The shuttle will operate on this route from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on weekdays only. Here are the exact times the shuttle will be at each stop (Excel file). The shuttle will not operate on holidays or when the university is closed.
