Workshops are a great way to hone your skills and renew your teaching license!

The Barker Center for Economic Education provides a series of very low cost workshops at new locations each semester.

Each workshop must have 10-15 people in order to run so inform your colleagues! Registration for our teacher workshops is required and there is a $10 registration fee. Upon completion of the workshop, eligible participants will receive a certificate of completion for contact hours.

One to three hours of discounted UA graduate credit is available and optional for most workshop (traditionally $400 per hour but discounted at $145 per hour!).  All participants that register and complete the requirements for at least one hour of graduate credit will receive a $100 stipend!  Participants are eligible for one $100 stipend a semester, and stipends will be awarded to the first 10 participants that register. You must register separately for graduate credit in advance or on the first day of the workshop.
