Biography

I am interested in the interactions between the environment and biophotonic nanostructures. Furthermore, I would like to understand how these interactions mediate the behavior and fitness of individuals as well as the evolution of the structures themselves. I currently study iridescent feathers to understand the effects of environmental heterogeneity on the material properties of these biophotonic structures.
