The Associate of Applied Business degree in Marketing and Sales Technology equips students with the technical skills required to fill entry-level positions in distributive business areas such as retailing, wholesaling, and related services. - enter the workforce at entry-level positions in distributed business areas including retailing, sales, industrial distribution and fashion.
- enter a bachelor's degree program in Organizational Supervision. This program is designed specifically for students with an earned associate degree from an accredited institution or junior standing at The University of Akron.
- transfer (step up) to the College of Arts & Sciences for an additional two years of coursework leading to a bachelor's degree in Communication or Fashion Merchandising.
We offer the following educational pathways to our students:
Minor degrees will be awarded only at the time a student receives a baccalaureate degree and only if the overall GPA for the minor courses is at least a 2.0.
