The Legislative Process, Dr. Rick Farmer
5:00-7:30pm EST Monfays, Aug 27 - Dec 10. A brand new course on the politics of the legislative process. This class will take a theoretical and practical approach to mastering local, state, and federal public policy making.
 
Campaign Law, Mark Weaver
6:00-8:00pm EST Mondays, Aug 27 - Dec 10. This class examines the legal environment for political campaigns. Topics include historical background, legal foundation, voting rights, filing requirements, campaign finance and political advertising.
 
Campaign Management I,* Dr. Dan Coffey
6:00 - 8:30pm EST Tuesdays, Aug 28 - Dec 11. A complete introduction to political campaign management. Topics include preparing a campaign plan, strategy, tactics, budget, advertising, and more.
 
Lobbying, Dr. Stephen Brooks
5:20 - 7:50pm EST Wednesdays, Aug 29 - Dec 12. This class studies the lobbying profession in the political process. Course themes will cover theories and types of lobbying, practical tools, and the advocacy process.
 
Voter Contact and Elections, Jerry Austin
5:20 - 7:50pm EST Thursdays, Aug 30 - Dec 13. This course examines the theoretical and practical approaches to political communication. Special attention will be placed on messages and timing.
