5:30-8:00 pm EST: Mondays, Janurary 22 - May 7      
A complete look at the techniques of quantitative research methodology in political science. Emphasis will be placed on the utility and limitations of quantitative research.      
       
3700:473/573 Voter Contact and Elections      
5:30 - 8:00 pm EST: Tuesdays, January 16 - May 8      
This course examines the theoretical and practical approaches to political communication with voters. Special attention will be placed on messages and timeing.      
       
3700:392/690 Online Politics      
2:30 - 5:00 pm EST: Thursdays, January 18 - May 10      
A timely course in the imporatnce of the Internet in political campaigns. Will look at ways to communicate with voters via E-mail, online fundraising, and viral marketing techniques.      
       
3700: 471/571 Campaign Management II*      
6:00 - 8:00 pm EST: Thursdays, January 18 - May 10      
This is the second course in campaign management. The focus is on timing, coalition building, candidate positioning, event planning, media buys, internal organization, and other elements of campaign strategy.      
       
3700: 472/572 Campaign Finance      
9:00 - 5:00 pm EST: Saturdays, April 14 - May 12      
This course covers all that is politics and money: campaign finance laws and reform, fundraising and development, issue and express advocacy, and campaign budgets.
