Century Mark: Ohio and National Politics, 1907-2007C-SPAN Bus Comes to CampusUA students had the chance to voice their opinions to a national audience when the C-SPAN Campaign 2008 Bus came to campus on April 9. C-SPAN was here to film a segment on how students view the 2008 election. Many students boarded the bus to give their views on what they thought the election’s outcome would be. The C-SPAN bus is a 45-foot, state-of-the-art mobile production studio that’s traveling the nation on its inaugural “Road to the White House” tour, named after the network’s signature political program. A revamped version of the network’s award-winning School Bus, the Campaign 2008 Bus promotes and enhances C-SPAN’s extensive political coverage. As the Nov. 4 election approaches, the C-SPAN bus will continue to travel to major political events in battleground states, tour state capitals, and visit middle and high school classrooms while meeting with local political leaders and journalists, candidates and voters on the campaign trail. ![]() The C-SPAN bus made a stop at UA during its “Road to the White House” tour. |
