William F. Demas, M.D., Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2000. He serves as chair of the Personnel and Compensation Committee. Dr. Demas is chief of the Division of Radiotherapy at Summa Health System/Akron City Hospital. A professor of radiology at the Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine, Dr. Demas is president and CEO of the Cancer Care Center. He is a trustee for the Akron Community Foundation and represents The University of Akron as a member of the NEOUCOM Board of Trustees. He earned an M.D. degree from the State University of New York. In 2006, Dr. Demas was the recipient of the Practitioner of the Year Award presented by the National Medical Association. (Term expires 2008). |

| Philip S. Kaufmann, J.D., Vice Chair, is an attorney with the law firm of Buckingham, Doolittle, & Burroughs, LLP. Appointed to the Board in 2001, he chairs the Facilities Planning and Oversight Committee and serves on the Collective Bargaining; Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment; and Personnel and Compensation committees. Mr. Kaufmann is a Board liaison to the National Board of Directors for The University of Akron Alumni Association. He serves on several other boards as well, including the Community Fund Management Foundation in Cleveland, the Salvation Army Advisory Board of Summit County, and the Blossom Music Center Board of Overseers. He earned a B.S. degree at Loyola University and a Juris Doctor degree at The University of Akron. (Term expires 2010). |

Ann Amer Brennan, J.D., Vice Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2003. She has been active in many community organizations. In spring 2003, Mrs. Brennan received the Outstanding Alumni Award from The University of Akron. She chairs the Educational Policy/Student Affairs Committee and serves on the Audit; External Affairs; Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment; Personnel and Compensation; and Strategic Issues, Governance, and Compliance committees. She served on the Ohio Arts Council for 10 years and is the past chair of the Summa Health System Board of Directors, as well as of the Akron Community Foundation. She served on the board of Hiram College for 12 years and was chair of its Finance Committee. Mrs. Brennan received a B.A. degree from The University of Akron and a J.D. degree from The University of Akron School of Law. Her husband David endowed the Brennan Chair in the School of Law in 1985. The Brennans are parents of four children and grandparents of 10. (Term expires 2012). |

| Roland H. Bauer, J.D., Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2006. He serves on the Collective Bargaining; Facilities Planning and Oversight; Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment; Nominating; Rules; and Strategic Issues, Governance, and Compliance committees. He is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Cypress Companies, Inc. and a member of the board of the Akron Art Museum, the Greater Akron Chamber, the Western Reserve Bank of Medina, and the Akron Symphony Foundation. Mr. Bauer is a member of the College of Business Administration’s Advancement Council, the Northampton Rotary, and the steering committee of the Walsh Jesuit High School Capital Campaign. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University. (Term expires 2009). |

Edward L. Bittle was appointed to the Board in 2002. He chairs the Collective Bargaining Committee and serves on the Audit; External Affairs; Rules; and Strategic Issues, Governance & Compliance committees. Mr. Bittle is president of Seal Master Corporation and ELBEX Corporation. He established Seal Master in 1974 and ELBEX in 1991. Mr. Bittle is a graduate of The University of Akron and a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity and Phi Alpha Theta Honorary Society. He has served as president of the Varsity "A" Association. He has lectured to entrepreneurship classes and has served on the University College Advisory Council and the Zip Athletic Club Advisory Board. He received the Alumni Honor Award for Excellence in Professional Achievement in 1994 and the "Red" Cochran Award for Meritorious Service in 1999. Mr. Bittle and his wife, Frances, endowed "The Edward L. Bittle Scholarship" and "The Bittle Residency in Jazz" and are members of the Hilltoppers-Buchtelles. Mr. Bittle's term expires in 2011. |

| Chander Mohan, M.D., was appointed to the Board in 2004. He chairs the External Affairs; Nominating; and Strategic Issues, Governance and Compliance committees and serves on the Facilities Planning and Oversight; and Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment committees. Dr. Mohan is president of the Clinic for Behavioral Health Services, a solo practice in Cuyahoga Falls. He also serves as a staff psychiatrist at Akron General Medical Center, as associate medical director of geriatric psychiatry for Massillon Community Hospital, a staff psychiatrist at Barberton Citizens Hospital, and an instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Prior to moving to Ohio, Dr. Mohan was a clinical teaching assistant in the Department of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center and at the New York University School of Medicine in New York, New York. Dr. Mohan serves the community as a member of the Summit County Republican Party and as co-chairman for the Physician's Advisory Board for the National Republican Congressional Committee. Dr. Mohan's term expires in 2013. |

Jack Morrison, Jr., J.D., President of the law firm of Amer Cunningham Co., L.P.A., was appointed to the Board in 2005. He chairs the Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment Committee and serves on the Audit; Collective Bargaining; Facilities Planning and Oversight; Nominating; and Rules committees. He serves as Vice President of The Akron-Summit County Public Library Board. He also serves on the Executive Committee and serves as Secretary of the Summit County Republican Party. He was also elected as State Committeeman for the 27th District to the state Republican Party. An active leader in the community, he has also served on the boards of the Akron Art Museum, Greater Akron Chamber, Akron Symphony, and Walsh Jesuit High School. He was President of the Akron Bar Association in 2000-2001. Mr. Morrison served his country in the United States Air Force from 1970-1974. He earned his A.A. degree (with honors) at the University of Maryland, a B.S.B.A. degree (magna cum laude) at The University of Akron, and a J.D. degree at The University of Akron School of Law. Mr. Morrison's term expires in 2014. |

| Richard W. Pogue, J.D., was appointed to the Board in 2004 for a limited term; and reappointed in 2006 for a full term. He chairs the Audit and Rules committees and serves on the Educational Policy/Student Affairs; Facilities Planning and Oversight; and Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment committees. In 2003, Ohio Governor Bob Taft appointed Mr. Pogue chairman of the Governor's Commission on Higher Education. Currently he is an advisor to Jones Day, the second largest law firm in the United States. Mr. Pogue has a long and distinguished legal career, serving as a partner with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue from 1961 to 1994. He has been a director of many major companies, including TRW, Continental Airlines and Derlan Industries Ltd. He serves on the Board of The University of Akron Foundation, and has been a trustee of Case Western Reserve University, University Hospitals of Cleveland, and many other institutions. Mr. Pogue has supported many civic organizations and charities, ranging from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to the United Way Services of Greater Cleveland. He received a B.A. degree from Cornell, a J.D. degree from the University of Michigan Law School, and an honorary Doctorate of Law degree from The University of Akron in 2004. Mr. Pogue's term expires in 2015. |

Kevin O. Thompson was appointed to the Board in 2007. He is the Area President for National City Bank, Northeast Region, and has oversight responsibility for National City’s sales effort, with direct responsibility for Corporate Banking in the Akron, Canton and Wooster markets. Prior to being named Area President in January 2007, he served as Senior Vice President and Manager for the Upper Middle Market Banking Group in the region. He joined National City in 1977 as a credit analyst and has held positions of increasing responsibility within Corporate Banking. Previously, Thompson worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Cleveland. He currently serves on the Educational Policy/Student Affairs, External Affairs, and Rules committees. He holds a B.A. in Labor Economics from The University of Akron and an M.B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is also a graduate of The Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University. He is very active in the community, currently serving as a board member of Akron Tomorrow, Furnace Street Mission, Tallmadge Community Foundation, The University of Akron and Victim Assistance. He volunteers as an instructor of Applied Economics for Junior Achievement, and is active with the Leadership Akron Alumni Association, The Greater Akron Chamber, Akron Tomorrow, Tallmadge Booster Club and Tallmadge City School Bond Oversight Committee. Kevin, his wife, and their four children reside in Tallmadge. |

Joseph D. Crawford, Student Trustee, was appointed to the Board as a Student Trustee in 2006. He serves on the Educational Policy/Student Affairs; Facilities Planning and Oversight; and Finance, Fiscal Policy, and Investment committees. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Politics. He is active in Associated Student Government and has served on the Hearing and Appeals Board for Student Judiciary Affairs. He is a former Resident Assistant and Community Assistant for Resident Life and Housing. Mr. Crawford is active in the Pre-Law Club and the College Republicans and is a contributing writer for the “Pre-Law Post.” A graduate of Lakota High School, Mr. Crawford has worked for the Summit County Republican Headquarters, the Summit County Board of Elections, and Wendy’s. (Term expires 2008). |
