For Installment Payment Plan due dates, please see our Billing and Due Dates page.
When is the payment plan available for each term? The payment plan for each term is available after the last installment of the prior term has been billed.

What are the disbursement dates for financial aid? The disbursement dates are published at the bottom of the Billing and Due Dates page for every term.
Please see the Financial Aid website for more information on disbursement dates. When will I receive a 1098T form (Tuition Statement for Tax Reporting)? If you had qualified education expenses that were billed during the tax year a 1098T form should be mailed in the month of January for the prior tax year. If grants and scholarships exceed the qualifying educational expenses for the same year you will not receive a statement. The University staff cannot advise whether or not you qualify for a tax credit. What is E-Billing? The eBill is a snapshot in time that is being stored online for your convenience to view or print if necessary. Students and authorized users have been receiving an e-mail notification that their eBill is available for view online since 2006. In the past, at the same time the eBill was generated, a paper bill was also mailed. Effective fall 2009, the paper bill will be discontinued. How do I view my eBill? Students and authorized users will receive an e-mail sent to their University of Akron e-mail address or private e-mail address, respectively, when their eBill is available to view. To view your eBill go to ZipLine and navigate as follows:
1. Enter your UANet ID and password
2. Click on the "Student Center" Icon
3. Scroll Down to "Finances"
4. Click on "make a payment/view ebill"
5. Click on "continue to Cashnet"

Can I get a paper bill instead of the eBill? All active students will receive an eBill. If you want a paper copy of your bill, you may log onto the website to print a copy of your bill. Students may use any of the computer labs on campus to print a statement. How do I set up an authorized user? How can my parents view my eBill? Students just sign into their eBill account and set up their authorized user in the system. A login name and password, assigned by the student, is used as security to view the eBill. The authorized user can also have an e-mail address added to their profile so that an email notification will be sent when a new eBill is generated. It is the student's responsibility to give the authorized user their login name and password (please keep in mind that the system is sensitive to the case (upper or lower) of each letter of the login name and password. The student also has the ability to cancel access at any time by signing into their eBill account and deactivating the authorized user's login. What should I do if I cannot view my eBill or do not have access to ZipLine? If you cannot login to ZipLine you may need to reactivate your ID and password by contacting the help desk at 330-972-6888. You can also contact the Office of Student Accounts/Bursar at 330-972-5100. Someone in this office should be able to troubleshoot the problem. Why does my eBill show a previous billed amount? The previous billed amount is the balance of your account on the date the previous eBill was generated. Refer to your previous eBill to see an itemization of charges and payments. The current eBill only shows detail activity since your last bill. What does anticipated Financial Aid on my bill mean? Anticipated Financial Aid is any grants, scholarships, or loans you may be eligible for at the time the eBill was generated. Financial Aid is normally disbursed 10 days prior to the start of the term. |
