Adult Student and Financial Aid Information Session
Event Details
Admissions specialists for adult students will be available to answer questions. Get information about most of our certificate, associate and baccalaureate degree programs.
- Location: Simmons Hall (Show on map). Park in the North Campus Parking Deck, immediately west of Simmons.
- Learn about financial aid and complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) while you're here.
- If you have previous college coursework, you can bring copies of transcripts for on-the-spot preliminary evaluations of your academic work.
- Representatives from most of the undergraduate colleges will offer guidance in specific majors.
- Get information about student support services, including UA Adult Focus, available to help you succeed at The University of Akron.
9:45 to 10 a.m. Check in Simmons Hall Lobby
10 a.m. to noon Student Services Information Fair
Talk with representatives from Admissions, Transfer Student Services, Career Services Center, Adult Focus, Military Services Center, Commuter Central and Student Financial Aid/FAFSA completion workshop.
