Join us on the campus of The University of Akron to hear nationally renowned speakers, educational leaders, practitioners, and students explore the critical issues impacting black males in higher education. This event is a follow-up to last year's summit and will focus on a "Call to Action."
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Participation is strongly encouraged by students, especially African American males. Also, those who should be in attendance include individuals interested in the recruitment, retention and graduation rate of African American males at our nation's colleges and universities. The summit should be attended by senior level administrators, deans, directors, faculty and staff, as well as public school administrators, guidance counselors, community leaders, parents and anyone interested in reversing this crisis.
