Michael is the Associate Director of the Career Center and is the liaison for Summit College and is the supervisor for our Graduate Assistant program. Michael has served on the directorate board for The Commission for Career Development since 2010. Michael worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Career Center focusing on the College of Business.
While working as a Graduate Assistant, Michael advised students on internship/co-op search, building career readiness skills and providing Myers Briggs assessments. Michael also has assisted within Department of Student Judicial Affairs providing counseling on disciplinary action in relations to the student code of conduct while assisting on hearing boards.
Michael has also taught a variety of courses while at The University of Akron focusing on Career Planning, Student Success and Public Relations Writing. Prior to joining the University, Michael served as a Marketing Assistant for a local IT firm located in Akron, Ohio where he assisted with public relations, community involvement and print advertisements.
