Biography

• Currently pursuing an Master of Science in Community Counseling at The University of Akron and licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC).  
• Holds both an Master of Education (Higher Education Administration & Student Personnel) and a Bachelor of Science (Intervention Specialist Education) from Kent State University.  
• Member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Ohio Counseling Association (OCA), and American College Personnel Association (ACPA).
• Has worked full-time in housing/residence life departments at both Kent State University and at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY.  During masters program at Kent State worked as a graduate assistant in Residential Communities.  Has also spent time as a middle school special education teacher and a caseworker in a residential facility for adults with developmental disabilities.
