Title: Graduate Assistant
Tailyn Walborn is the graduate assistant in the Career Center. She is pursuing a Master's of Science in Higher Education Administration here at The University of Akron.
Tailyn helps students from all majors and backgrounds with career development and has a diverse higher education background that has offered personal and professional experiences students can relate to.
Prior to coming to UA, Tailyn completed a Master of Arts in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University, a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Mount Union College, and coursework in counseling at Walsh University.
She has worked as an intern in the College of STEM Office of Professional Practice at Youngstown State University, and assistant in the office of Academic Affairs at The University of Mount Union, and as a teaching assistant at both institutions.
She is currently a member of the American Association of University Women and the Student Association for Graduates in Education, and sits on the University Hearing Board for the Department of Student Conduct and Community Standards.
