I chose the CBA for my studies because I wanted to work in the financial planning industry and UA has one of the most respected financial planning curricula in the nation.

My most memorable experience during my time at the CBA was attending the Financial Planning Association's annual conference in Anaheim, California. Seeing the concepts I had learned in the classroom come to life in a dynamic conference, inspired me to pursue my career with all my heart.

My most interesting project, by and large, was developing a comprehensive financial plan in my Seminar in Financial Planning class. That project showed me for the first time, how emotional the planning process can be. When you are helping someone accomplish their life goals, you begin to see the value of planning in an entirely different light.

It was not until I began my internship at ValMark Securities that I truly realized how well the CBA prepared me for my career. Simply being able to comprehend the high level material that was being presented gave me a tremendous appreciation for each and every class I took at UA.

I owe all of my present and future career success to the faculty at the CBA for crafting their curriculum in a way that truly prepares students for real-world challenges.

Do not ever think that a (CBA) class you are required to take has no applicability to your career. You will use absolutely every class in one way or another at some point in your career, so make the most of every opportunity to learn.
