India is a land of extremes… Both hot and crowded, charming and magical. It’s a region that has spent thousands of years leaving an indelible mark on the rest of the world, and a young country that is still rejoicing in a peaceful revolution and a newly liberalized economy. Books and pictures can give you little snapshots about what’s really going on there, and sometimes teachers can take you a little bit closer. In order to truly feel it, though, you have to see it for yourself.
