Converting to the Flexible MBA

Students admitted to the MBA program prior to January 2011 were accepted under the old MBA guidelines. To change to the new Flexible MBA, you must submit a program change form to the CBA Graduate Programs office for approval. Make sure to note that you wish to change to the Flexible MBA program. Once the change is approved a Flexible MBA checklist will be sent to you. We recommend that students planning to graduate in Fall 2011, Spring 2012 or Summer 2012 remain in the old curriculum.

To determine if you want to make the change:

• Review the curriculum for the Flexible MBA. There are fewer Gateway (Foundation) courses in the Flexible MBA but the advanced Flexible MBA program requires more credits than the old MBA. Compare the programs to see what is the best fit for you.
• Check to see if your concentration is still offered in the Flexible MBA. If not, is one of the Flexible MBA concentration a good fit? Please review the Concentration list.
