Flexible MBA

International Business (MBA)

Effective Spring 2012

The Akron MBA is built on the understanding that all business is international. The MBA-IB program is designed for those who want to move beyond what is offered in the core and delve deeper into the specifics of international business.

Akron offers an applied approach to the international business concentration. Classes are taught to allow students to gain real world practical knowledge, rather than having a theory based approach to class.   International business students will receive a global perspective on major issues in business. The classes do not focus on one area in particular, but cover many areas of business.   More international students are drawn to IB classes, which should be appealing to students who are interested in international business and the global economy.
