Marketing is used by every organization. Every business needs marketing to identify what the right product is for what group of people, how best to deliver that product and what price to charge. Even nonprofit organizations need marketing.
Strategic Marketing is the process of maximizing customer commitment to products, services, people and causes. Marketing is staying one step ahead through innovation. Building a brand and the level of brand equity a product has is important. The goal is to give your products very strong brand equity. Strategic marketing considers all aspects of marketing such as product, pricing, promotion and distribution.
Strategic marketing students pursue careers in a variety of areas including brand/product manager, sales manager, customer service manager, advertising manager, e-commerce manager, and marketing research.
