Information System Project Management Certificate


Program overview

Project management has assumed a key role in determining the success of IT based initiatives associated with a combination of outsourcing and in-house development. The IS Project Management graduate certificate program has been designed to meet the needs of IT and other professionals who are interested in this expertise. The certificate program consists of coursework addressing key areas in the project management life cycle including project planning, requirements analysis and design, rapid application development (RAD), and implementation.

Students admitted to the IS Project Management Certificate Program may enroll only in those courses required for completion of the certificate.

Total Credits 15

* This course is no longer offered: substitute 6500:644 Knowledge Management & Business Intelligence.


Application Deadline

  • July 15 for Fall enrollment
  • November 15 for Spring enrollment
  • April 15 for Summer enrollment

It is recommended that international students apply one month prior to these dates to allow time for admission and I-20 visa processing.  I-20 forms are processed by the Office of International Programs.
