



In 2009, BusinessWeek magazine ranked the College of Business Administration at The University of Akron as one of the best undergraduate programs in the nation.
For undergraduates, the College of Business Administration offers two degree programs – the Bachelor of Science in Accounting (BSA) and the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA). Students pursuing the BBA may select from among eleven different majors. The college also offers a variety of undergraduate minors and certificates. All our programs are designed to produce a well-rounded business professional.


All business majors must fulfill the University's General Education Requirements, Pre-Business Requirements and Core Business Requirements in addition to the requirements for their major.

Once you have selected your business degree program, the next step is applying to The University of Akron for admission. If you are currently a high school student, you will be admitted as a freshman. If you are attending or have attended a college or university, you will be admitted as a transfer student.
