Mission: To prepare competent and responsible accounting professionals.

Programs: BS (Accounting), MS (Accounting), Accelerated BS/MS (Accounting), and Master of Taxation.

Faculty: Experienced, highly credentialed and dedicated.

Advisory Boards: Dedicated professional leaders who provide input on curriculum decisions, support faculty research and student mentoring, and contribute resources for scholarships and student activities.

Junior Advisory Board: The Board seeks to bridge the gap between the students and professionals. Members work with the university's accounting students to assist in their professional development.

Scholarships: More than $100,000 in total annual scholarships each year, all of which are funded by the professional community, former students and dedicated friends of the School of Accountancy.

Graduate Assistantships: Graduate students work up to 20 hours per week and receive a stipend and tuition benefits.

Student Organizations: Accounting Association, Beta Alpha Psi, National Association of Black Accountants.

Internship Program: Our interns are well compensated and frequently receive offers for full-time employment upon graduation.

Career Paths: All of the Big Four, most regional and local public accounting firms, many Fortune 500 companies, as well as government entities actively recruit our students.

CPA Review: An intensive and innovative Summer CPA Exam Review program.

Awards Banquet: The George W. Daverio School of Accountancy Annual Awards Banquet is held to honor students and alumni.

Conferences: The George W. Daverio School hosts several yearly conferences including the National Tax Conference, the International Tax Conference and the Symposium on Information Systems Risk, Security & Assurance.
