Summer Fast Pass Class for Accelerated BS/MS Accounting Students
And Other Eligible Students

Prepare to FastPass the CPA Exam in the Summer
BEFORE Starting Your Full-Time Position

Employers prefer to hire and retain individuals who have completed the CPA exams. Accounting graduates find it extremely difficult to sit for the exams after they begin their permanent jobs. In response, the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy will host a Summer CPA Review Program in partnership with Becker Professional Education for outstanding students who will complete the Accelerated BS/MS Accounting program. Other students who have completed all requirements to sit for the CPA Examination in the State of Ohio will be accepted into the program as well.

Program Description

1. Students start the review program on May 15, 2012 and attend review sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
2. The review will be done in two parts—Part I will be Financial Reporting and Business; and Part II will be Auditing and Regulation.
3. Students will sit for the Financial Reporting and Business sections of the exam in early July, after they have completed Part I of the Review.
4. Students will sit for the Regulation and Auditing sections of the exams in late July or early August, after they have completed Part II of the review.
5. We strongly suggest that students commit to working no more than 20 hours per week while they are in the review program. This course will require a total of 36 hours of study time—12 hours per week for class and additional 24 hours of individual study time.
6. Fees will be $3,245.00 less $400 for all UA students. Students with offer letters from firms who pay for Becker will be honored. Students may be provided with scholarships, as available, and other available financial assistance. All students can qualify for 0% financing through Becker. (discounts and offers cannot be combined).
7. The price includes lectures, books, PassMaster and simulation software and The Becker Promise. Becker Promise: Attend 100% of the classes and score 90% or better on the PassMaster homework. In the event you do not pass the exam, you can take the review for an administrative fee.
