2009 National Tax Conference

The 2009 National Tax Conference (31st annual), hosted by the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at The University of Akron, was designed to update tax practitioners in the accounting, legal, business, and governmental sectors. New developments, tax-saving ideas, current issues, and changes in the laws applying to business and individual taxes were discussed by prominent tax specialists. The theme for this year’s conference was Tax Planning for Financially Troubled Businesses.
