
The 2011 National Tax Conference (33rd annual), hosted by the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy at The University of Akron, was designed to update tax practitioners in the accounting, legal, business, and governmental sectors. New developments, tax-saving ideas, current issues, and changes in the federal, state and local tax laws were discussed by prominent tax specialists. The morning session of the 2011 conference focused on Tax Aspects of Succession Planning for Closely Held Businesses and the afternoon session addressed a number of Current Development topics of interest to practitioners.
