How to Get Involved
Community
The Entrepreneurship Program is actively engaged with the business community. Several leading entrepreneurs and organizations (e.g., Frito-Lay) are involved in the program. We are seeking committed people who want to make a significant difference in the lives of potential entrepreneurs. There are a number of opportunities to become involved in the entrepreneurship program. Here are a few of these:
- Fitzgerald Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies' Advisory Board
- University-wide Business Plan Competition
- Become a Judge
- Find Keynote Speaker
- Become a sponsor for our Business Plan Competition
- Sponsor a Team to go to a National or International Competition
- Find Sponsors
- Become an Advisor to a Group of Students
- Find Companies to Work with Students
- Become a Guest Speaker
- Judge Student Presentations
- Find Sponsors
- Entrepreneurship Awards Banquet
- Serve on a committee to assist in the selection of awards for the Entrepreneurship Awards Banquet
- Sponsor naming rights on awards or our overall banquet
- Kauffman Internship Program
- Have Your Company Participate
- Find Companies to Participate
- Student Consulting Program
- Have Your Company Participate

- Find Sponsors
- Mentorship Program
- Become a Mentor for a Student for a Semester or Year
- Provide Scholarships for a Student(s)
- Provide a Grant for Research Support for the Institute

- Judge MBA Entrepreneurship Student during Their Final Business Plan Presentations
Students
Students have a wide variety of opportunities to become involved in the entrepreneurship program besides the traditional educational pursuits. Other initiatives currently under way within the Institute are:
Faculty
Faculty and administrators have the ability to become involved in the entrepreneurship program by volunteering their time to do the following:

- Judge MBA Entrepreneurship Student During Their Final Business Plan Presentations
- Find companies for our Kauffman Internship Program
- Assist in the Selection of Entrepreneurship Award Winners at the Entrepreneurship Awards Banquet
