... to The Institute for Global Business (IGB) that was established through a Grant from the State of Ohio in 1996 as an academic unit at the University of Akron.

The current business model requires you to demonstrate a balanced blend of classroom and practical experience well-rounded in global acumen. Our carefully refurbished International Business program will provide you with a fulfilling global experience and a functional specialization. Our faculty is committed to guide and train you to achieve and exceed your potential.

During your academic years in the CBA, you will interact with Senior Executives from top organizations, many of who serve on the Institute’s Advisory Board and are passionate to mentor you and support our study abroad, semester abroad, or internship programs.
