The Leadership Advancement Certificate Program is a hands-on academic and co-curricular program. Through a variety of experiences, this program provides students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add extraordinary value to their college preparation and resume.
The lynchpin of this program is the “Leadership Experience Project”, a 3 credit hour course that includes a challenging problem, research, analysis, and a well-defined plan for real action. Moreover, students who commit to completing the entire certificate program may receive up to $2,000 per student in support funding to enable their experience to have real-world possibilities.
CBA students with a 3.0 and/or all Honors students are eligible for this program. Honors students may substitute the Leadership Experience Project in place of their Honors Project. The Leadership Experience Project (LEP): Redefining the Honors Project Requirement
