Byron Canady is the Global Operations Relationship Manager for Dell’s U.S. Healthcare & Life Sciences division.  His responsibilities include influencing and shaping the direction of the supply chain to help assure the best experience for Dell’s customers.

Prior to his current position, Byron served as the senior manager for Dell’s Fulfillment Operations. He has also served as senior manager for Dell’s Customer Experience Supply Chain Operations and senior manager for Process Engineering & Maintenance.

Prior to joining Dell in 2003, Canady served as Director of Manufacturing for Goodrich Aerospace Test Systems Division; Plant Manager for Honeywell Inc.’s Advanced Circuits  business unit; and in a variety of production operations, engineering and engineering management roles for Honeywell Inc. (formerly AlliedSignal).

Byron serves on the executive committee and as chairman of the leadership committee for Tennessee State University’s Supply Chain Governing Board. He also serves on the Workforce & Technology committee for the Nashville Technology Council. Byron is a former President of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, Missouri and former Vice Chairman of Technology Access for the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences.

Byron earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla and a MBA in General Management from Rockhurst University. He enjoys cooking, golfing and traveling.  Byron resides in Franklin, TN with his wife, Dori, and their two sons, Braxton (age 13) and Parker (age 12).
